Our Mission
To reach people and families affected by Alzheimer’s and other dementing illnesses with support, knowledge and resources.
To develop societal awareness and understanding of the overwhelming devastation dementia causes.
To bring about improvement in the social and health systems serving those affected by dementing illnesses.
Newsletter
People are beginning to speak out about having Alzheimer’s disease. In an effort to stay in control of their disease, people with early-stage Alzheimer’s are getting involved.
Education
Memory awareness screenings will be held the third Tuesday of the month beginning in February 2007 at St. Luke's Community Health Education Center in Bellingham, WA.
Support Groups
A support group is a safe place to bring up issues that might be hard to talk about at home. Find a support group in your county.
Member’s Lending Library
Members of Alzheimer Society of Washington may borrow books and videos dealing with Alzheimer’s disease and dementia. If you find something you’d like to borrow and you’re not a member, then use our Membership Form to join first.
