Serenity Creek Adult Family Home
Serenity Creek Adult Family Home is located in the upscale Hilltop Haven subdivision of Mount Vernon with an expansive northwest view towards the San Juan Islands. Our home has 6 bedrooms and the option of either a private room or a semi-private room. Serenity Creek provides the best in senior care with a caregiver ratio of 1:3 during our busiest times and 24/7 awake staff.
We are certified to accept dementia residents. Serenity Creek practices the Gentlecare therapeutic model (M. Jones) in it's assessment and development of a care plan for dementia patients.
Serenity Creek accepts both private pay and Medicaid residents.
Our home features all the amenities you would want and expect for one monthly rate. Our handicapped accessible van will provide transportation for you or your loved one to medical appointments and for shopping needs.
In- home activities include reading, movie nights, singing around the piano, rides into the countryside, daily therapy routines, games, outdoor raised bed gardening, bird-watching, and family-style meals around the dinner table. In the summertime, you will find our residents enjoying BBQ's on the huge backyard deck. Our deck just seems to beckon you to grab a comfortable lawn chair and catch an afternoon nap in the sunshine.
Families and friends are an integral part of the Serenity Creek philosophy of caregiving. They are welcome to visit their family member as often as they wish and are welcome to join us for meals. We use an integrated team approach to caregiving that is well-suited to include families.
