Hamlet House
Aging in Place is a concept that is based on the principle that members of the large and growing seniors population can remain where they live for as long as they are able. The key to the concept is to provide housing and healthcare alternatives that enable seniors to downsize to a well-organized community that will provide support services as needed.
The Lopez AFH is part of the Senior Hamlet in the Village which also includes 14 cottages and a Gathering Place. The Lopez AFH is a new 4500 sq. Ft. structure which includes 6 private rooms with half bath, a common living room, parlor, dining room, kitchen, and a full bath. The second floor houses the apartment for the resident manager. Two of the six units will be affordable for moderate income levels. Our goal is to provide a loving home environment where care is delivered in a manner similar to the way a family member would give assistance in their home.
