Birchwood Adult Family Home
Birchwood Adult Family Home is owned and operated by Suzanne Shrock, a Registered Nurse, and her husband, Joe Shrock, a Registered Nursing Assistant.
OUR MISSION
We are committed to providing the highest level of professional and compassionate care to our residents. Our goal is to enhance the quality of their lives physically, mentally, and emotionally, through exercise, nutritional meals, recreational activities, and social interaction. Our promise is to respect, care for, and encourage our residents in daily living.
OUR QUALIFICATIONS
Suzanne is an RN with a Bachelors degree in Nursing. She has extensive background working for Nursing Homes, Home Health, and Hospice. Suzanne also serves on the board of Elder Service Providers. Joseph has an Associate Degree in Business and Accounting and just finished his term as the president of Fourth Corner Adult Family Homes (2004-2007), the local chapter of the Washington State Residential Care Council. Birchwood Adult Family Home has been serving the elder care needs of Whatcom County since April 1999.
